Jane and I met at Pitman College many, very many years ago doing a course in Shorthand and Secretarial work.  She was FAR better at typing and shorthand than I was but we had fun.  I have tried to keep up with her ever since with Christmas cards and letters.   I am amazed by her life story, she was a trooper.  I send condolences to her family, she will be very much missed.  Lindy.
