“Many years ago, when the world was quieter and more green (as Tolkien would say), and we were a little more spry, and could walk for miles, David and Jane and me, and old friends (John and Lorna) and, maybe Sarah (?) were together (as we so often were) for a weekend walk. This was 'BG' (before I met and married my wonderful Graham)! I don't recall exactly where the wood was, but it was packed full of the most glorious bluebells, which smelled delicious. For some reason, that walk remained etched in my memory; and to this day, I always think of Jane whenever I walk through a bluebell wood. I shall continue to do so.” Maggie Bailey
